What is the difference between return-to-sport PT and regular PT?

How do you know when I am actually ready to return?

We use force plate and VALD testing to measure strength symmetry and power output against established return-to-sport criteria. When your numbers meet the benchmark and your movement holds up under sport-specific load, that is when we clear you not before that point.

How long does return-to-sport programming take?

It depends on the injury, the surgery, and how far along you are in recovery. After your evaluation, we map out a realistic timeline. Most athletes have a clear picture of what to expect within the first session including the benchmarks we are working toward.
